Yesterday, StarKist Co. opened its new corporate and administrative headquarters in Reston, Virginia, after 10 years of allocation in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The new property of the 1917 founded seafood company features a custom Charlie the Tuna mural, an open floor plan, a collaborative/creative space, a large employee lounge, and a 28-seat boardroom, among other spaces. See some of the office features here.

Andrew Choe, President and CEO of StarKist said “I believe the move to Virginia will provide an outstanding work environment for our employees, as well as an opportunity to expand the StarKist business in the years ahead.” The new premises will accommodate about 80 employees. But with this 250-mile move, a four-hour car drive, chances are that several staff members may have left the company if relocating for them was not an option.
