Canada Recalls Century Tuna Product

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency announced last month that Century Tuna’s Flaked Light Tuna Hot & Spicy Style (180 g) has been recalled due to undeclared gluten on its label. The product was distributed in Alberta, British Colombia, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan by the company Uno Foods Inc. The notice was published on the government website on December 20. It read: “Do not use, sell, serve, or distribute the affected products.”

The government also provided a toll-free number and email address on the website for consumers who purchased the product to file a complaint and ask other enquiries about the item.
