Police are continuing to search for clues to the death of a deckhand whose body was found on a fishing boat in the Western Australian port city of Fremantle this morning.
Forensic officers are on board the Taisei Maru, a tuna fishing boat which docked at Fisherman’s Wharf on Thursday.
The body of the man, believed to be aged in his mid-20s, was discovered in his sleeping quarters below deck by a fellow crew member.
Detectives from the Major Crime Squad have cordoned off a section of Fisherman's Wharf as they conduct further inquiries.
