Cans of tuna fish K-plus will be recalled from the market for containing high quantities of histamine.

Croatia’s Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development decided to pull the product after an investigation showed high levels of histamine.

Histamine could be dangerous in high quantities as it can lead to poisoning. People allergic to histamine, pregnant women and children are especially at risk.

K-plus is imported from Thailand by the supermarket chain Konzum, the daily Jutarnji List writes.
