Venezuela Source: Prensa Latina The commercial fishing company Pescalba, a Venezuelan-Cuban Socialist Joint Venture, has increased its tuna catches by 313% during the first 5 months of 2010, compared to the same period last year.
One of Pescalba’s most important goals is to become the main tuna supplier to the processing plant Fextun, which requires about 9,000 tons of tuna annually.
