The Southern Blue Fin Tuna Project has been announced as a finalist for the South Australia Science Awards in the excellence in research collaboration category.
The Clean Seas Tuna hatchery at Arno Bay and its research efforts has been a core part of the cooperative project which has been praised for closing the lifecycle of the southern blue fin tuna.
The winners of this award will be announced in August, with prize-monies of $10,000 dollars to go towards research up for grabs.
