Austral Group Gets Eco-Friendly Award ff

Austral Group received an award for Cleanest, Most Eco-Friendly Production in the Fourth National Peruvian Responsible Management contest. The program was created by the Peruvian Ministry of the Environment to promote environmental management among Peruvian businesses.

Austral Group, a supplier of crude fish oil, implemented an impact-reducing environmental production method in all of its plants, which are all certified in accordance with ISO 14001:2004. Austral is a subsidiary of Austevoll Seafood ASA, Storebo, Norway, as is Aalesund, Norway-based EPAX. Bjorn Refsum, CEO of EPAX, commented: “Austral is our main supplier of crude fish oil.
