Germany Germany saw an increase of 29 MSC-labeled products in May alone and became the country with the second highest number of MSC-labeled items in the world, right after the UK. With over 235 products, German companies are shaping up the sustainable seafood agenda. Seafood sustainability has climbed high on the agenda due to concerns about overfishing and market demand for sustainable seafood. With one third of the total volume of MSC-labeled products sold in Germany, the country is also the world's biggest market for MSC-labeled products.
