So far, skipjack tuna CFR Bangkok prices for fish of 1.8kg and up have almost doubled since the start of this year (USD 800) until now (USD 1600). Despite this year’s sky rocketing price-trend, 50% of the atuna.com viewers are of the opinion that prices will now remain steady at the current –and already towering- USD 1600 peak.

However, as much as 33% of the atuna.com viewers who participated in the poll are either fearing or rooting for yet a higher sky-scraping price level up from USD 1800 and even as high as USD 2000 per M/t in Bangkok by the end of this year.

We will know what the final reality will be by January 1st, however, in the meantime, see here the responses received -until today- to the question:
