Connors Appoint New MD For Canada & Internationalff

Connors Bros. Income whose subsidiaries market consumer food brands including Bumble Bee(R), Clover Leaf, Brunswick last week announced the promotion of Ron Schindler to Executive Vice President and Managing Director of Canada and International.

Mr. Schindler, who previously held the position of Senior Vice President, Canada and International, has 27 years of sales and marketing experience in consumer grocery products, 24 of which have been with Connors Bros. or its former sister company, B.C. Packers Limited.

”We are thrilled to announce the promotion of Ron Schindler to this position,” said Chris Lischewski, president and chief executive officer of the Fund’s operating subsidiaries. “Ron’s promotion recognizes the tremendous contributions he has made to the company, including his efforts in combining the Connors and Bumble Bee businesses in April 2004, and his ongoing responsibility for managing the Clover Leaf business in Canada along with the International business. He continues to demonstrate a sharp focus on achieving bottom line results, leadership in new product development, and keen strategic thinking which together have provided the basis for solid growth in the
business units he has been leading, and will be critical to the achievement of our long-term goals.”
