HERMASA Installs 5 Computerized Tuna Fillers In Thailand ff

HERMASA has finalised 2002 installing 5 more units of its tuna packing machine TUNIPACK® in Thailand, the largest producer of this type of canned food. These units were installed in the following plants: GOLDEN PRIZE (THAI) CO., LTD. (2 machines), SONGKLA CANNING PUBLIC CO. LTD. (2 machines), belonging to the THAI UNION group and TROPICAL CANNING PUBLIC CO.LTD.-TCB (1 machine). This growth is undoubtedly due to the excellent performance of the machine (precision, speed, absorption) and the continued attention paid to clients both by the Hermasa staff and the technical service present in Thailand itself (TANAMAC CO., LTD.).

In addition, Hermasa has continued its expansion in this market with the installation of two more units in Central and South America, in Costa Rica (SARDIMAR) and Venezuela (AVECAISA), as well as the first unit in TUNISIA (EXPROM).  Moreover, Hermasa has noted a continued increase in the Spanish market, where it has installed more than 25 machines, and the number is increasing every month.

Within its tuna canning production lines, and coinciding with the start of 2003, HERMASA wants to promote its STEAM TUNA COOKER WITH COOLING UNDER VACUUM - TUNIVAC®.  This machine started to be produced over 20 years ago in co-operation with several canning factories.  The first units were installed in Portugal, which was then a major producer of tuna canning.  The company registered these machines in due course.  As time went by, the machines were improved to reach what is nowadays one of the best units in its category, with the reliability and control over the cooking process required by the producers.   This is a key point in the production line and part of the performance depends on this equipment.

HERMASA manufactures its cooker from high quality steel AISI-316-L in different sizes to satisfy the specific production capacities of every customer. The control system installed in TUNIVAC® is from the latest generation, which includes the capacity of 100 different programs for cooking and at the same time it is easily programmed by the technicians responsible for it. Its liability and preciseness allows the obtaining of the maximum homogeneity and cooking of the product, and moreover, the maximum performance thanks to its control system, which informs about the temperatures of each and every sensor introduced to the fish. Furthermore, it is equipped with a phone connection module, which permits monitoring and watching over of the overall performance of the equipment directly from HERMASA without the need of displacement of the technicians (all this means significant time and money saving). In conclusion, the tuna cooker TUNIVAC® is an equipment tailor made to meet the customer needs, it has excellent quality-price-performance ratio which brings added value to the production line keeping in mind simplicity of functioning, something more and more important in the current industry philosophy.
