Panama could become an exporter of farmed tuna thanks to the experienced obtained in the laboratory of Alchotines in Pedasi, where they are cultivating tuna and other species.
The Panamanian Marine Authority signed a cooperation agreement on Wednesday that will enable the smaller Panamanian communities to dedicate their activities to fish farming as an alternative, so that they do not have to directly depend on the species caught at sea.
