FMC FoodTech introducing TwinTecÔ, SeamTecÔ and SuperAgiÔ at the Interpack 2005 Fair, in Hall 6 – stand D68.
With TwinTecÔ FMC FoodTech are the first in the industry to integrate the filling and seaming operation in one single machine. The TwinTecÔ “Two-in-One†filling/closing technology offers a revolutionary hygienic design and machine cleanability. All product contact surfaces are executed in stainless steel or non-corrosive material with rounded corners, large drainage channel with one single drainage. Grouped utility connections and centralized can infeed and discharge allow for a quick, easy “plug and play†installation. TwinTecÔ also sets new standards in can height and can diameter change-over time, can format flexibility, machine reliability and uptime, space requirements and operator safety and comfort.
The new SeamTecÔ range of can closers is available from 3 to 10 spindles and covers the speed range from 50 to 1250 cpm. SeamTecÔ sets new standards in sanitary design and high performance cleanability.. The use of patented can/cover handling and seam setting technology offers a reduction of 50% in can diameter change-over time. SeamTecÔ is standard fitted with automatic oil lubrication, frequency drive, PLC controls with touch screen operator interface. SeamTecÔ combines innovation with FMC FoodTech’s tradition of quality, reliability and service.
With the SuperAgiÔ rotating batch retort, FMC FoodTech introduces a unique, innovative concept to the industry. The combination of an innovative drum design with process water sprays mounted inside drum results in a highly compact design, superior temperature distribution and low utility consumption. SuperAgiÔ is available in Steam Water Spray, Full Water Immersion and Multi-Process execution.
