Few Tuna Companies At Seafood Barcelona Next Week ff

140 seafood product and processioning companies are on the list to exhibit this week at Seafood Barcelona. From October 22 to 24, players across the seafood industry are expected to meet for three days of business and networking.
This will mark the second edition of the Barcelona seafood fair that will be held in the Gran Via de Fira. Standholders from 27 different countries will be showcasing at the event, with industry buyers expected to visit from various nations across the globe.
A search of the Exhibitor’s list learns that only 5 companies have a relation to the word tuna. None of Spain’s major tuna industry players is participating in the event.
Rival seafood fair, Conxemar, opened its doors for three days at the beginning of this month and hosted around 480 exhibitors and welcomed 24,000 visitors at its 15th edition in Vigo. The success of Seafood Barcelona, as its competitor, will now be closely watched this week.
