US fast food chain, Burger 21, signed franchise agreements with six different entities in six states in 2012 to develop a total of 11 restaurants as part of its aggressive growth strategy to bring its crafted burgers to more cities across the country.
American fast food chain Burger 21 has signed franchise agreements with six companies to open 11 outlets across six US states.
The chain is launching an outlet in Orlando near the University of Central Florida in February 2013.
It is keen on expanding its retail footprint across South Florida, Dallas and New York this year.
Commenting on the developments, Burger 21 president and chief concept officer Mark Johnston remarked that the chain is looking at a strong franchise development in 2013.
Burger 21 is a “beyond the better burger†fast-casual franchise concept founded in 2010.
Burger 21 is a chef-inspired brand with offerings including 21 unique burger and slider creations, including ‘the ahi tuna burger’, panko-crusted, lightly-fried sushi-grade ahi tuna, lettuce, tomato, Sriracha, caramel soy, fresh avocado, pickled cucumber, toasted sesame bun.
