Spanish tuna company Conservas Cuca is launching a new premium line of tuna products called “Family Reserve.â€
According to the company, the canned tuna products are “sourced from the best raw materials†and prepared using the same traditional method since 1887. The line includes tuna in olive oil and tender belly tuna in olive oil, in cans or jars.
Conservas Garavilla, known for its brand Isabel, took over Cuca in 2011 and has been strongly concentrating on product innovation and development, such as its NaturFresh added value tuna line. It recently decided to move the production of the Cuca factory to its Isabel plant in O Grove, Pontevedra, to maximize profitability.
