Angolan investors are in talks to buy the Portuguese tuna canning company behind the brand Bom Petisco.
According to officials, the investors are looking to purchase 80% of the company Cofaco, which is responsible for the Bom Petisco tuna products. The canning group fishes in Azores in the North Atlantic Ocean and has two factories, one on the island of Pico (Madalena do Pico) and the other on S. Miguel (Rabo de Peixe). Coresa, in charge of Cofaco’s administration and marketing, holds the remaining 20% share.
